Well this is it. My fourth year of teaching at LCS begins tomorrow. To celebrate our final weekend of summer, we went out to eat, saw a movie ("Takers"), I babysat all day Saturday for Max in Portland, we went to the Wunderland arcade, the Oregon State Fair, the gym (:-)), and today I got a massage and we ended with Mom and Dad over for dinner, some last minute prep work, and a walk and a shower. I am trying to get off to bed "early" (meaning, around midnight, preferably 11 or even 10 pm eventuallY?) because I have no clue what 6 a.m. is going to look like tomorrow. We had a great weekend, and I am SO. HAPPY. that my room is set up and ready to go. Last week was the most dreaded week of the year, and tomorrow will be hectic too. But the light at the end of the tunnel is near, and blessed routine again is in sight. I still loved my summer job the best- as homemaker! However, I can deal with this for another 9 months. I am now considering maybe going back to school starting next summer to get some more endorsements, which will make me more marketable. I also really think I want to substitute teach again starting next fall...which means, I won't have to set up my own classroom again for awhile! Thanks, Mom, for all your help!
